WASTEWATER SCREW SCREEN IN TANK FL/CFT SERIES
The wastewater screw screen in tank comprises a standard screw screen mounted inside a stainless steel tank instead of in a channel, offering flanged inlet and outlet connections for inline installation into a piped flow network. The wedge wire or perforated plate screen basket locates inside the tank where the liquid and suspended solids are separated. The liquid discharges via the outlet under gravity flow. The captured solids are transported to the top-end of the machine where it compacted before being discharged into a receiving bin or conveyor. Spray nozzles located in the screening zone automatically cleans the screen basket and cleaning brushes. Optional level sensors located inside the tank sense the upstream water levels and signals the control panel when to turn on/off the rotating screw motor.
Features:
- Separation of suspended solids from liquid flows
- For installation above ground, with inlet and outlet flanges
- Fixed screen basket captures suspended solids
- Rotating brushes remove solids from screen surface
- Inclined screw transports solids to compaction zone
- Solids discharge vertically into receiver bin or conveyor
- Compaction of solids before discharge
- Automatic washing in the screen zone
- Optional organics washing in the transport zone and compaction zone
